Today's writing Session, we had to create a whole descriptive paragraph of how we would feel if we were starving in the middle of the sea (At least thats what I did). I honestly had fun about this activity that we had done!
(My Descriptive Writing)
It has been a few weeks since something eatable enter my mouth, the only thing I can taste is the salty air of the sea. As I laid there on my wooden canoe, I felt a sharp pain of hunger stabbing my stomach, it was a awful feeling. My mouth was dry, I felt famished as if my stomach was going to explode, just because I was craving for food. As I look high in the sky, I can see the bird in the sky and I know that the fishes were below me, in the dept of the ocean. As if they were somehow teasing me. I am hoping we can find more land sooner or later, or else I can just stay here and die of hunger on my wooden canoe that wasn't eatable at all....sadly.
Hi Lola, its Caley from Ahipara School. Great writing, its very descriptive. I really like how you described how you were stranded in the middle of the sea.
ReplyDeleteKia ora Lola - I really enjoyed reading your descriptive Blog post. I liked the way you added a picture that continued to move - I didn't realise you were able to add a picture like this to your Blog post. You also taught me a new word 'famished'! I hadn't heard of this word before. Maybe you could continue your writing as I'd love to know if you eventually found land. Thanks for sharing & well done. Jen TA (Awhi below)
